The Gurriers have announced that the will no longer be playing together as a band.
They would like to thank everybody who has supported the band over the past ten years.
The Band's most recent recordings will be available to download from the Media page shortly.

The Gurriers are currently appearing on two seperate compilations at the moment. "Kids on the street", is the opening track on "Enterance", a collection of the hottest new bands from around the world released on Matchboxrecords on the U.K. and Europe. This can be purchased from
www.matchboxrecordings.co.uk and the site also has an excellent review of the track. Check out Matchboxradio-24, a 24 hour radio station broadcast from this site which plays all the tracks on the album along with an interview with the band. Don't forget to vote for the song on the chart on the site too!
The Gurriers are also appearing on "Blast-Beat", a compilation of the top Irish bands around at the minute released by TreasureIsland Records and features tracks from bands such as The Revs, Bunny, Mixtwitch and Onoff to name but a few. This is available to buy at www.blast.ie so check that out too. Our site was recently moved from one server to another so apologies to everyone for bits of the site being off-line temporarily. Hopefully all is sorted as you read this but after all, we are musicians and not fuckin computer whizzkids. If we were we would be living in big houses and driving ridiculiously expensive cars.
