Colin has just returned from a month of session work in L.A. with "The Mercy Killers". The band features Craig Fairbaugh, one time member of Punk legends "The Forgotten". Craig is currently touring with Rancid member Lars Freidrikson and The Bastards.The Gurriers are looking forward to their most successful Summer to date with their upcoming Irish Tour, which is kicking off in the best possible way with an appearence at this year's Oxegen festival.

The Gurriers won't be playin in club Hibernia on the 29th october unfortunately due to prior commitments. If anyone is still looking for a copy of our last E.P. Kids On The Street there are still some available in the Arts Office, Market Square, Dundalk. Or else you could just wait untill our latest c.d. is released at Christmas.

hey der volks, hallo aus Münster. The gurriers rocked the casbah that
was baracke along with the sentiments and the shakadelics, 2 münster
bands. The place was wedged with german punks and rockers who really
knew how to enjoy a good gig. We have a special request, we are
searching for a guitar that is declan proof, that is one that does
not go out of tune and does not cut out now and again! Declan was
using the legendary "denis the menace" tele as wielded by rumble
frontman peter johnson. now, either that guitar is gettin old or
declan really hates guitars and punishes them for their sins, but he
managed to end up with "altered tunings" again. After the gig we went
out to a german rock club which kicked ass. Finally we ended up in a
reggae club which polished off the evening nicely (and nearly us as
well).Tonight we are stayin in münster with anne nöspickel and her
cool family. her brother fabian was out with us last night, a cool
guy. Pics will be posted as soon as we get home. Tonight we are
headin to a ska place in münster. And u'll all be pleased to know
colin did get a replacement cucumber so all is well in that
department. too da loo!!!

This is the diary entries we posted on the club news board when we were in Germany this Summer. We thought it would Be a good idea to put them into the diary section aswell. Al,11/6/04
well there folks we landed in berlin airport on wed morn still fucked
from the 7hour stopover in london. colin got searched and his
cucumber that he keeps down his jocks was confiscated. however he is
as i type out lookin for a new one. Dec and me were evicted from the
golden heart hostel cause dec got sick and we kept winnin at pool. we
r currently crashing in mick malone from dundalk's place. so cheers
mick. Last night we saw the füture of german musik. There was a band
so gammy and bad even by german standards they should have been
shot.pictures will b up soon enough of these so called musicians fret
wanking their hearts away. tonight its on to münster for the second
leg of the tour. for the mo auf wiedersehen pets!
